Bereavement Committee
The Bereavement Ministry comforts the grieving family while assisting to plan their funeral.  Members also pray with the family during the funeral service.

A member of this ministry meets with the family of the deceased and assists them in arranging all aspects of the Funeral. The direction provided by this group allows the family to make necessary personal decisions without the burden of detailed planning at their time of loss. When possible, the ministry visits the funeral home and conducts a prayer service.

Members also plan the Annual Memorial Mass usually held in October and offered for all deceased parishioners, but especially for those who have died during the current year.

People who are interested in being a member of the Bereavement Ministry need only a caring heart and an ability to step up when called on at the last minute for a funeral.  Please contact Mary Ann Haas at the Parish Office at (513) 921-7527 for more information.
